Born on March 31, 1948, in Kokomo, Indiana, Larry was the son of the late James P. Ford and Helen L. (Shepherd) Ford. His mother survives.
Larry was a mechanic and worked in the maintenance department for the the town of Converse. He loved riding motorcycles, camping, fishing and being outdoors as much as possible.
He is survived by his children, Anthony Ford, Amboy; Bambi (James) Dickison, Marion; Neil (Lisa) Ford, Converse; Chris (Keith) Carlson, Claypool; Marty Roberts, Glens, Mississippi; brothers, Jeffery D. (Penny) Ford, Kokomo; sisters, Janet L. Bailey and Helen R. Moss, both of Kokomo; nephews, David & Joseph Bailey, Kokomo, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Corbin Roberts.
There will be no visitation or services. Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Larrison-Martin Chapel, 308 East Marion Street, Converse, Indiana was entrusted with the arrangements.
