Kathy Renay Hunter, age 62, of Callahan, Florida went home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2020. She was born on March 16, 1958 in Tampa, Florida to James Alfred Friday, Sr. and Eula Mae Friday.
Kathy adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with her family and friends. She greatly enjoyed Elvis Presley and her weekly girls’ night out. She delighted in entertaining, gardening and crafts. Kathy was widely known for her sweet spirit and kind heart.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Kenneth Hunter; mother, Eula Mae Friday; daughter, Kelley; brother, Alfred Friday, Jr.; sister, Judy Graham; niece, Tiffany; nephew, Buck; grandchildren; Kayla, Hannah, Serenity, Easton, Elizabeth, Rodney, Sabrina; great grandchildren; Dallas, Rosalee, step-son Kenneth Hunter, Jr.; step-daughter Tonya Sawyer.
A Celebration of Kathy’s life will be held Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 11: 00 a.m. at Callahan First Baptist Church with Pastor Lynn Hyatt officiating.
Interment will follow at Green Pine Cemetery in Yulee, FL. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home.
