He was born on November 15, 1934 in Holland Patent a son of the late Claude and Edith (Coleman) Howe Sr. He was educated in Holland Patent Schools.
James was a quiet and friendly person who appreciated the simpler things in life. In his younger years he enjoyed working on, and driving race cars. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Marcia Howe of VA. He leaves his sisters-in-law, Phyllis, Bela, Reggie, and Elaine, also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, June Graham, Shirley Smallwood, Janet Heaney, Patricia Perry, and brothers, Claude Jr, Arthur, Paul and Leroy.

A graveside service will be on Tuesday June 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Crown Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. There are no public calling hours.
