Ted Morris
August 30, 1937 - June 03, 2020

Born, raised, and lived a full life in Sacramento, California.
Graduated from McClatchy High School and Sacramento State College.

Began teaching at Hiram Johnson High School, where he also coached baseball and basketball. Switched careers to real estate first starting with Dennis Donovan Realty. Very enthusiastically, he established his own real estate company, Ted Morris Realty. He was proud of the many homes and rental properties he built in the Greenhaven and Pocket area, including Park Riviera townhomes and Park West condominiums. He was also involved in commercial property management with buildings located in Midtown Sacramento and North Sacramento; such as 2110 K Street and Watt-Whitney.

He was a member of the YMCA's Business Association and Mr. and Mrs. Club at Saint Joseph’s Church in Clarksburg.
He was the President of many youth and professional organizations.
He was Student Body President at C.K. McClatchy High School, Class of 1955, responsible for organizing numerous milestone class reunions. He was a President of Pocket Little League, Greenhaven Lake Association, and Sacrament Board of Realtors.
He considered himself t
o be a problem solver. His motto was, “If there is a will, there is a way”. He proved time and time again that if you put your mind and effort into something, you could accomplish just about anything.
His hobbies included wood working, car restoration and customization, home improvement, and gardening. Like his father, he could build and repair just about anything.

He was a big fan of the San Francisco Giants baseball team and the San Francisco 49’ers football team.
He enjoyed cooking for family and friends, including Sunday evening dinners and his annual Fish Fry. During the summer, he enjoyed barbequing hamburgers, hot dogs, and ribs. He also held a special holiday celebration each year, called Thanks-Mas, so extended family members could enjoy a holiday meal together.

He was married twice and raised four children.

His father, Edward Morris, was living in San Francisco then moved to Sacramento after meeting his future wife, Josephine Musacchia, while she was attending nursing school in the Bay area. He had three brothers and one sister; Edward Jr, Louis, Donald, and Joan.

He passed away peacefully at Kaiser Hospital in South Sacramento on June 3, 2020. He was 82 years old. His body was cremated at St. Mary Cemetery and Funeral Center.
