Doctor of Veterinary Science, Kansas City Veterinary College, Class of 1906. U.S. Army Veterinary Corp.(32 years), World War I, World War II. Twice served in the Philippine Islands, and took part in the punitive expedition into Mexico in 1916 and 1917. Appointed Director and Senior Instructor in the Department of Hippology, The Cavalry School, Fort Riley, Kansas, 1917-1920. Affiliations: Masonic Lodge, National Sojourners (President, 1940, El Paso, Tx, Chapter #74), Hero's of 76, and was active in horse shows throughout the nation. Husband of Annie Marshall Leininger.
