Mrs. Dora Ann Goshay Davis, fondly known as Miss Sally, was born February 10, 1945, to Ms. Daisy Bell Goshay.
She attended the public schools of Terrell County, GA, and was a member of the Carver High School Class of 1962.
At a young age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined ATOC AME Church. She was married to the late Willie Curtis Davis, Sr. The couple raised five children.
She was employed at the Terrell County Sheriff’s Office where she worked diligently for twenty-five years until her retirement in 2004.
On Sunday, July 21, Ms. Davis quietly went to rest at home with her devoted family by her side. She was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Goshay Smith; her husband, Willie Curtis Davis, Sr.; her sister Mary Lee; her brother, Eddie Martin; stepsons, Willie Curtis Davis, Jr. and Carl Curtis Davis; and her oldest grandson, Trakenthris Donnell Davis.
