Amber Marie "Samis" Lawrence, 23, and Eric Lee Samis, 24, of Pickens, passed away April 17, 2006 at their residence. Amber was born on February 6, 1983 the daughter of Virgal Lawrence and Sherri Wilson. Eric was born on December 14, 1981, the son of Leroy Samis and Ella Louise Adams.
Amber was preceded in death by her great uncle, Floyd Wilson; brother, Virgal Lee Lawrence Jr.; and uncle, Preston Lawrence. Eric was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Samis; brother, Larry Samis; and sisters, April Marie Allen and Ariel RaChelle Allen.
Amber and Eric were both affiliated with the Baptist Church. Amber loved to read and cook. Eric loved to work on vehicles and fish. They were both wonderful parents who loved their children very much.
Amber and Eric leave to cherish their memory their son, Raven Montana Samis; and daughters, Hailie RaChelle Samis, Jasmine Marie Samis, and Cleste Lee Samis. Amber is also survived by her mother, Sherri Wilson, Clebit; father, Virgal Lawrence, Oklahoma City; brothers, Robert James Davis, Clebit, and Virgal Don Lawrence, Durant; sisters, Virginia Rose Harrison and Krystal Alberta Lawrence, Cartwright, and Natasha Nicole Lawrence, Oklahoma City; and niece, Juanita Harrison. Eric is also survived by his mother and step-father Ella Louise Adams and David Adams, Smithville. They are both survived by their grandparents, Sonny and Edith Scheidt, Lincoln, AR, Lois Lawrence, Cartwright, Ross Lawrence, Durant, and Glen and Peggie Yugzy, Smithville, Kerry and Sue Adams, Pickens; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2006 at Camp Israel Fulsom Church, Battiest. Interment will follow at County Line Cemetery, Pickens.
