Mrs. Mable Cauthen Harris was born on May 13, 1929 in Spalding County. She was preceded in death by her Loving Husband, James Edward Harris, A Wonderful Mother, Nettie Green White, A Caring Father, Ben Cauthen and 2 Devoted Aunties, Ethel Carter and Rozzie Miller.

Mable Passed Away Peacefully in her Deep Tranquil Sleep around Midnight on the 21st of June. Father God called Mama Home to him on Father’s Day. She was actually Officially Pronounced Decease on June 22th, so this is her official date not actual date. Mable Loved Jesus and He Loved Her. She would write this EVERYWHERE. She was an advent Student of God’s Word.

She was known for that Beautiful Smiling Face that would always Light-Up when you were greeted by her. She drew many to her and to Christ by exhibiting a Humble Sweet Spirit. Mable was the Queen of her Senior Year Graduating Class. Miss Vocational High. She was A Lifelong Member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, under the Late Rev. Horace Fuller Jr. and the Now Head of God’s House, Pastor James Walker, where she served for Many Years on The Mt. Pleasant Usher Board. A Faithful Levite…Holding the Door of God’s House and Serving His People. She Loved to Serve People in any way she could.

Mable leaves to cherish her Memory Carolyn (Richard) Starks, Rebecca Lynette (Rodney) Warr, James Gary Harris, Kenny Bernard (Cassandra) Harris, Grandson who she called Her Son that she raised from a Baby, Joseph Driver III, 9 Grandchildren, Joseph, Shikinia, Tanya, Lisa, Mequel (Natalia), Vanisia (Christan), JaShea, Michelle and Neil. 13 Great Grandchildren, 2 Sister in Laws Joann Delaney, Mamie Smith, A Brother in Law Robert Harris and a Host of Awesome Cousins, other Relatives and Friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Friday, June 26, 2020 at 11:30 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Westwood Gardens.
