BLOOMINGTON - Debra Sue “Susie” Cochran, 61 of Bloomington passed away Tuesday June 23, 2020 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center.
She was born June 23, 1959, to William Grant and Hazel Maxine (Fitzgerald) Cochran in Bloomington, IL.
She is survived by her mother, Hazel Cochran; brother, Thomas Cochran; sister, Pamela (Mike) Kern; nine nieces and nephews; eleven great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Grant Cochran and brother, Charles Grant Cochran.
Susie was a bindery operator for the Taylor Corporation for many years. She was a good hearted, sweet person. She never knew a stranger. She was a Godly woman and she put up a good fight until the very end. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Cremation rites have been accorded with Susie’s wishes.
East Lawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
A graveside service will be held Saturday July 11, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. East Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pastor T Brewer will officiate. After the service family and friends are invited back to East Lawn Funeral Home for a meal, and share memories of Susie. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the continued fight against Breast Cancer.
