Donna McBride was born on February 9th, 1922 in Stettler, Alberta, one of ten children born to James and Rose McBride. Throughout her life, she worked as a waitress, bartender, cook and real estate agent, just to name a few. She married Michael Andritz in 1973 and spent many happy years travelling with him to various places. One of their favorite places was in Mesa, Arizona where they spent several winters. In 2010, Mike and Donna moved to Calgary where they remained until Mike's passing in 2012. Donna lived with her son until 2014, when she moved into the Willow Creek Lodge in Stettler, where she was close to her sisters and brother. She was sent to the Stettler Hospital in 2017 and then on to the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary where she continued to reside until her passing on September 12, 2017. Donna was predeceased by her parents, her sisters and brothers and her beloved husband Mike. I loved you yesterday, I love you today and I will love you tomorrow. Forever you will be in my heart.
