Mr. Michael Anthony Burton, age 67, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Monday, June 22, 2020.
Mr. Burton was born in Decatur, Georgia on June 7, 1953, the son of the late Parks Burton and Vivian Watson Burton. He graduated from Carrollton High School and attended the University of West Georgia where he received his bachelor degree in Business Management. During his working career he worked as a superviser for Gold Kist and later went to work for SPA Security in Fairfield. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and David Foster of Old Hickory, Tennessee, Kristen and Jon Watts of Carrollton, Makayla and Zachary Ayers of Carrollton; son, Eric Burton also of Carrollton; grandchildren, Savannah, Noah, Madison, Ethan, Jacob, Charlotte; sister and brother-in-law, Cissy and Jeff Price of Carrollton; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Charlotte Burton of McDonough, sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Keith Crews of Carrollton along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In accordance with his wishes his body was cremated.
