Jeffrey DeWayne Lankford, 57 of Ringgold passed away on June 21, 2020. An avid Tennessee Vols Fan, Jeff has lived in the Chattanooga area his whole life.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Lee Lankford Jr.; sister Cindy Pritchett; grandson Sebastian Lankford; and Grandparents Carl & Maybelle Lankford Sr., and Arnold & Evelyn Warren.

Jeff is survived by his two daughters, Christa (Brandon) Speights, and Lexi Lankford; son Joseph Ables; mother, Sylvia (Clayton) McCain; sister, Pam (Rex) Vice; and grandchildren Austin Duncan, Eli Speights, Hayden Speights, Jonah Speights, Sophia Lankford, and Gianna Zelaya; special friend Wanda Mansell; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Darryll Chambers, Claude Byous, Eli Speights, Taylor Dover, Joseph Ables, and Jason Vice will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday June 24, in the parlor of the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday June 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Warren, and Rev. T.D. Burgess officiating.
