Mrs. Helen D. Evans, 52 Cherry Street, Plymouth, died Wednesday in Mercy Hospital.
Born in Plymouth Township, daughter of the late Thomas and Ellen McDonald Finley, she was a graduate of Harter High School, West Nanticoke and was employed by Nabisco, Wilkes-Barre. She was a member of St. Vincent’s Church, Plymouth, and its Altar and Rosary Society. Her husband, William C. Evans, died March 4, 1973.
Surviving are daughter, Mary Ellen Evans, at home; sisters, Mary Burns, Plymouth; Mrs. Jean Murphy, Plymouth Township; brother, Thomas Finley, Warrington.
Funeral will be held Saturday at 9 from the James V. Brennan Funeral Home, 133 W. Main St., Plymouth, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Vincent’s Church. Interment in parish cemetery, Larksville. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9. Rev. Joseph Houston will conduct. Christian Wake Services Friday afternoon at 2.
