Ashley Nicole King, age 31, of Wilmington, DE, left this Earth suddenly on Thursday, May 28, 2020.
Ashley was born November 7, 1988, with the most beautiful blue-green eyes. All of Ashley’s grandparents adored her from the moment they laid eyes on her. She was a graduate of Delaware Technical and Community College where she received her Medical Assistant certification. Ashley was a young mother to three beloved children, Briana Nicole, Bernardo “Junior” and Aniyah, all three were her world. She was a loving daughter as well as a caring and protective big sister. The passing of Ashley is tragic and deeply unbearable for her family. Ashley was full of life and will truly be missed by us all.
Ashley was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Mary E. Hitchens; grandfather, Michael C. King; aunt, Marie “Tweety” Hitchens; niece, Mariah King; and a host of other family members in Heaven. She is survived by her children, Briana, Bernardo and Aniyah McKinney; parents, Michael King and Michelle Hitchens; sisters, Samantha and Miranda King; grandmothers, Linda King and Nancy O’Neill; great grandmother, Grace Davis; beloved nieces and nephew, Destiny, Kenley, Mariah and Dekelvin; uncles, Joseph, Robert, Douglass and William; and aunts, Mellissa, Malinda, Mandy, Mary, Jennifer and Chrissy. Ashley also will be missed by her numerous cousins, especially Erika, who she had a very special bond with.
