Thomas L. Hodges II, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma while surrounded by his loving family. He was welcomed into the world by his parents Francis and Gloria (Shamblin) Hodges on September 14, 1952. Thomas enjoyed many hobbies and a few of them included fishing and cock fighting when it was legal. But most of all he loved to spend time with his wife Frances along with his children and grandkids.

Thomas was an outstanding husband, father and grandfather because his goal in life was to give them absolutely the best that he could each day. God was important to Thomas and while living in Big Springs, Texas he enjoyed time of fellowship at the Church of God. Thomas and Frances have resided in the Wagoner Community for the past four years enjoying what the lake had to offer.

Thomas was preceded in death by two daughters; Jennifer and Holly Hodges, his parents; Francis and Gloria Hodges and one sister; Sue Villalpando.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of the home Frances, three sons; Thomas Hodges III and his wife Meagan of Big Spring, Texas, Earnest Taggart of Stanton, Texas and J.T. Taggart of Wagoner, Oklahoma, three daughters; Frances Hodges-McKinley and her husband Jason Fox of Cortez, Colorado, Josie Shober of Big Spring, Texas, Gloria Padilla and her husband John of Wagoner, Oklahoma and Elizabeth Gerdsen and her husband Derek of Rogers, Arkansas, two sisters; Teri Lewis and her husband Allen of Vinita, Oklahoma and Mary Joan Bolton and her husband Bo of Ketchum, Oklahoma, and Jeannie Stucky of Wagoner Oklahoma, thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A ceremony to honor the life of Thomas will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., located at the Shipman Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner, Oklahoma.
