Mrs. Betty Ann Maxwell, 76, of Monticello, MS passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 at her residence in Monticello, MS. Betty was born August 14, 1943, in Monticello, Mississippi to Carl E. and Dorothy Hall.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 11:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, with graveside services following in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Please follow social distancing procedures. Bro. Jimmy Harvey will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was a kind-hearted woman who enjoyed caring and providing for others, especially close friends and family. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Betty will be missed by everyone.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Terri Maxwell Shumaker (Ben), two grandsons Jake Reynolds (Toni), Seth Reynolds (Sarah); great granddaughters Kaitlee, Kylee, Hailey and Ruth Anne Reynolds; great grandsons Carter Reynolds and Caleb Avants; two brothers Ed Hall (Jean) and Sid Hall (Polly).

Those preceding her in death were her parents; husband of 58 years Claude Harrison Maxwell; daughters Donna Lynn Maxwell Wallace; one brother Robert Hall; sister Shirley Morgan and an infant great grandson, Clyde Harrison Reynolds.

Family would like to express their thanks to Teresa Maxwell for her compassionate care for both Claude and Betty during their illness.
