George W. Botkin was the son of Lewis Garrett and Mary Young Botkin. He was married to Bettie Lincks and they had seven children - James Everett, Louis Stephen, Anna M, Carl, George Gibson, Jane and Sarah Ellen. George was preceded in death by three of their children (Anna M,Louis Stephen and Jane).
