Harold Raymond Bailey, age 86, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Friday July 8, 2022 at his home.
He was born July 27, 1935 in Trion, GA, a son of the late Icum and Callie Clem Bailey. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Ruth Russell Bailey, son, Billy Dean Bailey, son-in-law, Sherry Williams, brothers and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Mildred Bailey, Estle Bailey.
He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Sandra Bailey Williams, Debbie and Mike Douglas of Dalton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Jane Bailey of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Nakia and Shane Rice, Sandon Carson, Genna Carson, Brooke Douglas, Billy and Amanda Douglas; great grandchildren, Dean Rice, Callie Rice, Eli Carson, Faith Cox, Lane Cox, Ellie Allen, Elise Douglas, Nora Douglas, Lily Douglas, Jack Douglas; sister-in-law, Anna Jo Bailey of Chatsworth, GA; nieces and nephews.
Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Harold Raymond Bailey will be held Monday July 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor John Paul Burdashaw, Pastor Shane Bailey and Pastor Stan Lester officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.
