Daniel L. Rymer, age 61, of Oshkosh, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, March 31, 2018, at his home. Born on August 2, 1956, in Berlin, Wisconsin, the son of Lee and Dorothy (Regan) Rymer, Dan married Dawn Braasch in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, on June 1, 2002.
The owner/operator of D & D Builders, Dan had a reputation for his skilled passion in carpentry and there was little he couldn't fix or repair. However, he specialized in residential home construction. Dan had a love for truck pulling, ice-fishing, working on his trucks, and being surrounded by his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, and his two dogs.
Dan will be greatly missed by his wife, Dawn Rymer; children, Jeremy (Sharla) Rymer, Jason (Jamie) Rymer, and Jamie (Andrew) Evans, Jamie (Monica) Braasch, and Donald Braasch; 18 grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Barkow, a brother, David (Kathy) Rymer; and nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Melvin Rymer and Marlin Rymer; and a sister, Patricia Kunde.
A memorial gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the River of Life Church, 440 W. South Park Ave., in Oshkosh.
