Mr. Gaa was a funeral director and embalmer. He was later a general agent with Franklin Life Insurance Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and Elks Lodge 158. Mr. Gaa was a World War II veteran and attended Worsham's Mortuary College.
Surviving are three daughters, Paula Gaa of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Kevin (Pamela) Kazmaier of Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Porter of Springfield; a son, Dr. Peter C. III of Temple, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
Memorial Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, with the Very Rev. Hugh Cassidy, V.F., officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
