Bernard Sullivan Jr., 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday. He was blessed to have had two wonderful long marriages. First to the late Dorothy (Woodard) Sullivan for 33 years. Then to the late Suzanne (Dumont) Sullivan for 21 years. Bernard is survived by his two daughters and two step-daughters, Maureen and her husband Steven Carro of Bridgewater, Patricia and her husband Michael Rousseau of Uxbridge, Ellen and her husband Richard Knowles of Seabrook N.H. and Denise and her husband Donald Brogan of Mendon, and seven grandchildren, Daniel, Zachary, Clayton, Marissa, Hannah, James and Taylor. Also his best friend and beloved spoiled cat, Dusty.

Bernard served in the Air Force during the Korean War, stationed in North Africa and England. He owned and operated Carpet Haven of Bellingham for many years. Bernard was an ardent sports fan of the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and the Boston College Eagles.

Calling hours are on Friday, October 19th at CARTIER’S FUNERAL HOME, 151 South Main St. (Route 126), Bellingham, MA from 5PM to 8PM.

Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 20th with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at St. Paul's Church, 48 St. Paul St. Blackstone, MA. Burial will be private.
