Justin Wade Lawrence, loving husband and son, was taken suddenly from his family in an automobile accident Thursday morning.

A proud Texas Native and descendent of one of Stephen F. Austin's "Old 300", he was born at St. David's Hospital in Austin on the 24th of August 1962. Justin Graduated from Westlake HS in 1979. He entered the water/wastewater treatment field in Taylor, TX, eventually working his way up to a Class A Wastewater Certification and a Class B Surface Water Certification. He joined the Lower Colorado River Authority as their Senior Water/Wastewater Technician in 2001.

A gifted saxophonist and an avid Frisbee golfer, he was always cheerful, open-handed and hearted, never to busy to offer help to family, friends, or even strangers in need.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Sharon McCrary-Lawrence of Spicewood, TX, his parents Ken & Barbara Lawrence of Taylor, TX, brother Brian Lawrence and wife Heather, sister Robin Lawrence-Allen and her husband Joe Allen of Liberty, TX, as well as many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled for the 10th of February 2007, at Providence Funeral Home located at 807 Carlos Parker Blvd., Taylor, TX. Burial will follow at his family cemetery, Lawrence Chapel.

Texas is the poorer for this loss.
