Joe Stanley Myers, 92, of Lakeville passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Majora Lane Nursing Home in Millersburg.

He was born October 28, 1927 in Coco, West Virginia the son of Arch Carl and Cora Mae Cobb Myers.

He had worked in West Virginia as a carpenter and tree trimmer and then worked at the Flxible Bus Co. in Loudonville for over 10 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Loudonville Baptist Temple and had been a resident of Lakeville since 1974.

Joe could fix anything and he liked to tinker with cars. He made ash trays for family and friends, enjoyed going to blue grass festivals and spending time with family. He had also been a bee keeper.

Surviving are his sons Rick and Larry Myers both of Lakeville, 12 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; siblings Lovel Myers of Florida, Gloria Crower of S. Charleston, WV and Jack Dempsey Myers of Big Bear Lake, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Evelyn June Darby Myers on May 10, 2010, daughters-in-law Marjean and Pamela Myers, a sister Evelyn and a younger brother.

There will be no calling hours and private family services will be held. Burial will be in the Wooster Cemetery.
