Lois was born on March 3, 1938 in Jerome, Idaho to Thomas Franklin Shaw and Annie Radley Clarkson. She was the 5th of 8 children with 6 sisters and 1 brother. She attended school in Jerome and graduated in 1956 from Jerome High School. She married Louis Russell on July 10, 1956 in the Idaho Falls Temple.
Lois served in various Church capacities, volunteered at the Morrison Center, and worked as a bus aide assisting special needs students. She seemed to touch the lives of everyone she met, and not a single day will go by without her in the minds and hearts of those who loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Louis; daughters Shannan Ahrens, Annie Call, and Loah Helderman; son Clark Russell; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and sister Charlotte Brown.
Lois is preceded in death by a daughter, Minnie May Russell; and her parents, Thomas and Annie Shaw.
