Third of four children born to Florence Benna Walker Conrad and Ray Herbert Conrad. Married Albert Herbert Banner, PhD., 20 June 1938 in Honolulu, Hawaii. With him she was a partner in his research into marine toxins and his adventures in Europe, Western Asia, Afghanistan, Malasia, and Australia in their Land Rover. She survived him by only a year and a quarter. Like his ashes, hers were scattered in their beloved Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
