Brandon Malik Thomas, of Roanoke, Virginia, departed this life on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. He was born on October 21, 1998, in Lynchburg, Virginia and attended Northside High School in Roanoke. He was a son, a big brother, and a proud dad.
Brandon played a number of sports, including basketball and baseball, for the City of Roanoke. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved watching football games with his dad (Tyrone), mom and younger brother, Thai.
Brandon was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Haywood Robinson, Jr., and grandfather, William L. Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Alethea Thomas and Tyrone White; one brother, Thai White; one sister, Amber Noell as well as a host of half-sisters and brothers; and one daughter, Niomie Fleshman. He also leaves three grandmothers, Rosetta Robinson, Shirley Jennings, and Linda Ford; three aunts, Seanda Robinson, Seanika Nowlin, and Phillina (Robert) Jordan; two uncles, Michael Nowlin and Charles Thomas. Brandon leaves behind to mourn his passing a long list of cousins and a host of extended family and friends.
A private memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2020, at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home & Crematory. Condolences may be sent to www.Hamlar-Curtis.com.
