WOLF - Dale Wolf, aged 59, of Alto, went to be with his Lord on Monday, September 13, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Albin Wolf; mother, Margaret (Colon) (Steffes) Wolf; step-father, Leo Colon; sister and brother, Leora (Wolf) Avery, and Robert Wolf. He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Osborne) Wolf; children, Joseph Wolf, Tammy (Tom) Keith, Shea Dalrymple; seven grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Eugene (Shirley) Wolf, Shirley (John) Nelson, Richard Wolf, Carol (John) Wulfsen, Judy (Jay) Hall, Thomas Wolf, Paulette (Ron) Reed; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Dale worked as a machine builder and then retired after 27 years at Steelcase as a journeyman machine repairman. He worked part time at Hastings City Bank doing maintenance work. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and basketball and loved going to their cottage at Croton Dam. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9669 Kraft SE with Fr. Mark Bauer celebrant. Interment in Alaska Cemetery. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Chapel (Caledonia), 616 E. Main St. Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
