Rose Marie Dean was born on April 3, 1933 in Saint Edward Nebraska, and passed June 14, 2020 at Kaiser Hospital in Roseville CA at 2:30pm. She was 87 years old. Rose was preceded in death by parents Elmer & Marcelle Mathahs, and older sister Mary Elizabeth Dean.
Rose and her family moved to Fairfield, CA around the time she was 3 or 4 years old. She attended Armijo High School and graduated in 1951.After high School, she started working for JCPenny's in their accounting department, until she married her one true love Benjamin Webster Dean on April 10, 1955.Shortly After moving to Sacramento, They became Pregnant with their first son. Randolph Benjamin Dean who was born October 28,1956 and July 12,1960 Brian Keith Dean was born. In 1962 they moved to the home they spent the rest of their lives’, in Fair Oaks CA.
Rose was a devoted wife and mother.She also has a special place in her heart for animals, often joking that she likes them better than most people. She loved her family and greatly enjoyed the annual Dean Family Reunion's where she was able to catch up with her favorite people. She also loved her yearly vacations to Hat Creek, in Old Station, CA. She and her husband Ben, their two sons, and families, along with Rose's sister Mary, and her husband Pete Dean, ( who was one of Ben's older brothers) would stay at their favorite cabin's and spend the week fishing, reading, relaxing and enjoying each other's company.Ben and Rose spent 63 years in love until the passing of Benjamin Webster Dean on July 22, 2018.
She Is survived by her two son's;Randolph Benjamin Dean, his wife Sandi,their three children, Alexis, Ben and Jordan, and great granddaughter Willow.Brian Keith Dean, his wife Celia and their 2 children Kristin and Morgan.

Visitation and viewing Monday, June 22 from2:00PM -5:00PM Memorial service will be Tuesday, June 23 at 10:00 AM. Graveside service will follow at 11:00AM.
