Nina Shante "Snookie" Thompson, age 30, passed away Sunday September 13, 2015 at her home in Lexington, Kentucky.

Funeral service will be Sunday September 20, 2015 at 1:00pm in the chapel of the Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. William Collett, Bro. Frank Collett, and Bro. Craig Vaughn officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Jess Privett Cemetery in Strunk, Kentucky.

Nina was born on August 9, 1985 to Randall Thompson and Judy Anderson in Germany.

She is survived by her father Randall Thompson and wife Cathy of Strunk; her mother Judy Anderson and Allen Genoe of Roundtop; son Dakoma Ellijah Gale Anderson of Pine Knot; her daughters Sierra Sky Cox of Pine Knot; Arayah Heaven Thompson of Stearns; brother Craig Anthony Vaughn of Frankfort, Kentucky. Plus a host of other family and friends.

Nina was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church. She loved helping the homeless; in fact she said it was her calling from God to help and serve them, she enjoyed dancing, horseback riding, and spending time with family and friends. .
