Stricken with a heart attack, John Becker, 72, died Sunday morning at his residence, 104 Ontario street north. Mr. Becker was caretaker and a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian church. Born in Wellesley a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Becker, he came to Kitchener 19 years ago. He married Elizabeth Wettlaufer on June 28, 1888 at Philipsburg. Deceased was a member of the Canadian Order of Foresters.

Surviving are three sons, Ray Becker of San Pedro, Calif., Arthur of Toronto and Raymond of Welland, two daughters, Mrs. R. Hutchison of Ottawa and Mrs. P. Elsasser of Bellerose, Long Island, N.Y., six brother and three sisters.

Remains will rest at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home until Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. When they will be removed to St. Andrew's Presbyterian church for funeral services at 2:30 o'clock. The pastor, Rev. Finlay Stewart, will officiate. Interment will take place in Woodland Cemetery.
