Obituary for Charles "Chuckie" Tankersley Jr.
Charles “Chuckie” Tankersley, Jr., age 62, widower of Charlene Tankersley, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at his home.
He was born in Whitmire, SC and was a son of the late Charles Tankersley Sr. and Elsie Mae Davis Tankersley.
Chuckie was an employee of the Carlisle Finishing Plant for thirty-three years, a member of the Union Masonic Lodge 75, and attended God’s Healing Springs Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Hart Harris (Matt) of Greer and granddaughter, Delilah Harris.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church of Whitmire with burial to take place at the Whitmire Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
In addition to his wife and his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Johnny Tankersley.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the God’s Healing Springs Church, 315 Old US 176, Whitmire, SC 29178.
