Doris Lorene McKinney, age 86, of Mattoon, Ill., passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020 at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring, Florida.
Funeral services honoring her life will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Schilling Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Dickinson officiating. Burial will follow at Montrose Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 until 6 p.m. on Monday at Schilling Funeral Home, which is assisting the family. The family requests those attending visitation or services to wear facial coverings and maintain social distancing.
Doris was born on Feb. 1, 1934, the daughter of Frank and Audrey Hawker. She married Calvin Wayne McKinney on June 23, 1957. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2014.
Survivors include her second husband, Richard Cilento; son, David McKinney; grandchildren, Matthew and Laura McKinney; brother, Joe Hawker; sister-in-law, Connie Hawker; and daughter-in-law, Ann Liston.
In addition to her husband and parents, Doris was preceded in death by sisters, Marjorie Gabel and Dorothy Dunn.
Memorial donations in her honor may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Eastern Illinois University Foundation.
