Kenneth "Bud" Spencer, 74, of Elkhart, passed away March 12, 2020 at Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart.

Bud was born in Ashland, KY on August 3, 1945, a son of William and Betty (Bickel) Spencer.

He attended Constantine Schools, graduating in 1963.

Bud worked as a carpenter for various contractors for over 30 years. Additionally, he also worked for Timber Roots Lumber Company in Marne, MI, and served on the Elkhart County Sheriff's Reserve Department for 10 years.

He enjoyed going fishing and playing in fast pitch softball leagues in Elkhart. Bud had many fond memories of playing baseball and basketball in high school.

Bud is survived by his daughter Stacey (Tom) Albert of Elkhart; granddaughters Crystal Albert and Cara (Dylan) Menzie; brothers William (Maria) Spencer, Tom (Cindy) Spencer, and Ray (Susan) Spencer; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place.

No public services will occur.

Arrangements were entrusted to Eley Funeral Home, Constantine.
