Willie Jean Manning, 83, of Huntsville, Alabama died on June 17, 2020 in Huntsville, Alabama of heart failure. Born August 19, 1936 to Curtis Chester and Mary Chester in Columbus, Georgia, she married Curtis Manning (CSM Retired) on February 14, 1969 in her hometown. She was a registered nurse for nearly 20 years. She and Curtis traveled the world as a military family until he retired 1991 in Huntsville, where she taught with the Montessori Schools for several years and was a longtime member of the Redstone Arsenal's Bicentennial Chapel.
