Services for Ms. Barbara Alice Greer will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020 in the Chapel at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena with Reverend David Lukens officiating. Burial will follow in the Nebo Cemetery in Nebo under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
The family requests that visitation be observed Friday, June 5, 2020 at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena.
Ms. Greer, 79, of Trout, was born June 1, 1941 in Monroe and passed from this life on Thursday, June 4, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ellis Jones; mother, Luddie Edna Cotton Jones; son, Daniel Greer; brother, Cecil Jones; and sisters, Alma Doughty and Oretha Jones.
Those left to cherish in her memory include her son, Jimmy Greer (Christie) of Jena; daughter, Cindy DoLittle (Timothy) of Meridian, Mississippi; brother, C.E. Jones; 5 grandchildren, Christon, Renee, Alonna, Daniel, and Macy; and 1 great grandchild, Danielle.
