Clara Mae White 88, passed on February 23, 2020 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

Clara was born on January 6, 1932 to John S. Marshall and Mattie M. (Mack) Marshall in Shongaloo, Louisiana. At an early age Clara and her family moved to Coffeyville, KS. where she attended Douglas School.

Clara gave her life to Christ as a young girl and she loved praising God. Clara married Leonard White in May of 1959 in Miami, OK. They spent their lives together for 59 years. Preceding this union Clara was blessed with a lovely daughter Kay Esther Marshall Pouncil.

Clara was a domestic worker where she was employed by many reputable employers including C.R.M.C. and Windsor Place.

In Clara's leisure time she enjoyed playing volleyball as well as softball where she held down first base. She also enjoyed fishing, playing cards and being around her family. She was the rock of her family and everyone depended on Momma, Nana, Auntie, and Cousin.

Clara was an active member of the Greater Union Missionary Baptist Church where she held several offices, she was a treasurer, choir member, worked in Missionary Society, Kitchen Staff and Usher.

Clara was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, 3 Brothers and 1 Sister.

She leaves to cherish her memories her Husband Leonard White; Daughter Kay (Phillip) Pouncil of Bartlesville, OK; One Grandson Pastor Justin Pouncil, whom she affectionately called "Love Bud" of Houston, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Services located 502 S. Union St.

Service will be Friday, February 28, 2020 at 1:00p.m. at Union Missionary Baptist Church located 900 Delaware St. with Pastor Gary Lane Officiating.

Final resting place will be Fairview Cemetery.
