****NOTE**** The family headstone for John Alexander Mavor in Keith, Moray, has his date of death as 10th November 1918, however, I have checked the military records in various documents which shows his actual date of death was 27 October 1918. He is buried at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery at Tezze British Cemetery, Italy.

Erected by George Mavor in memory of his father William Mavor died 9th February 1879 aged 37. And his mother Bathia Laing died 25th June 1894 aged 47. Also his brother John died 1st May 1898 aged 21. And his sister Bathia died 22nd June 1879 aged 4 months and of his son John Alexander, fell in action in Italy 10th November 1918 aged 24. And his wife Mary Ann Riach died 15th March 1941 aged 83. Also the above George Mavor died 29th August 1942 aged 74. Also Mary Ann Stephen, daughter of the late William Mavor died 21st February 1946 aged 74. John Gray, beloved husband of Annabella Mavor died 23rd April 1981 aged 87 years and Annabella Mavor wife of the above named John Gray died 23rd May 1982 aged 84 years.
