He bought land there of Edward and Richard Hutchinson, bounded north by a creek (which he gave his name), Gulliver's Creek.

He married before 1650, Lydia Kinsley, daughter of Stephen Kinsley, and had five sons and four daughters.

2. Samuel, born 1653, married Jan/Jane Gilbord/Gilbert, Dorcheser 17 January 1682
3. Jonathan, born 27 October 1659 married Mary Robernson/Robinson of Dorchester, 17 January 1686, Milton

Lydia Kinsley Gulliver died in 1682. He married 2nd. Eleanor (..?..) Verein, widow of John, after January 1689/90 in Milton, Norfolk, Massachusetts.

Many of the ancient houses in Milton had the second story projecting over the first, two or three feet, and the house of Anthony Gulliver was of this description. He built his house on Squantum Street, on the north side of the brook. It was taken down in the mid-1800's. The imported brick used in the chimney bore the date 1680.

The name Gulliver appears under various forms of spelling, as: Caliphar, Colliforn, Cullifer, Gullliwer, Gouliver, Gulliwer, Gullifer, and Gulliver.
