Mili was born in Winnsboro, South Carolina to Nellie Stroud and Arthur Braswell. She grew up in Winnsboro South Carolina and graduated from William and Mary University in Virginia. She moved to Dallas over 25 years ago and while in Dallas, she worked for Wade College for over 20 years at a job she loved. Working with students kept her young at heart.
Mili always lived life to the fullest and loved her family and friends. When she entered heaven on June 11th, she was reunited with her loving son Joe who we know met her with open arms. In her 93 years she raised 6 children by herself, she was strong willed, very opinionated, direct, and had a great sense of humor.
