Joyce Dickerson Humphries, 59, of 206 Garrett Road, died Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at UNC Rex Hospital.
Born February 7, 1961, she was the daughter of Marvin Thomas "Pete" Dickerson (Mary) of Lenoir and the late Helen Abbott Dickerson.
Joyce was a former employee of Roses and Henderson Fruit and Produce. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church and attended Crossroads Pentecostal Holiness Church.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at New Bethel Baptist Church by Rev. Herbert Brown.
In addition to her father and his wife, Joyce is survived by her husband, Steve Randall Humphries of the home; two sons, Steven Bradley Humphries of Tallahassee, FL and William Corey Humphries of Henderson; and two granddaughters, Kristyonna Nicole Humphries and Victoria Renee Humphries.
If anyone wishes to pay their respects or view the body, they may do so today from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm on Friday, June 19, 2020 at J.M. White Funeral Home.
