Mrs. Emma Jean Clark age 76, resident of Lake City, FL transitioned from her early home on November 27, 2018 at North Florida Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. Born October 18, 1942 to the late Lucille Hawkins Morrell and Mose Hawkins, Sr.
Emma accepted Christ at an early age and was an active member at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church under the Christian leadership of Pastor Alvin Green.
She attended and graduated with the Richardson High School Class of 1961. She was a member of the American Legion Post 57 and a former Daughter of The Improve Benevolent Protective Order Elks of The World.
Preceding her in death special brother Most Hawkins, grandson Johnathan Lee and great=grandson Ranijah Jones.
Left to cherish loving memories are her children; Melinea Jones, Robert Jones and Christopher (Cathy) Jones. Siblings: Louise Hawkins, Alice Hawkins and David Hawkins. Seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, Special friend and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
Service for Mrs. Emma Jean Clark will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 8, 2018 at St. Paul Missionary baptist Church, 222 NW Oosterhoudt Ln, Lake City, FL 32055 with Rev. Alvin Green, Pastor/Officiating. Interment will follow in Philadelphia Memorial Gardens.
