Beloved husband of U.S. Army Captain Johnnie Koch; loving step-father of Jason (Pam) Battle; cherished step-grandfather of Desiree and Stephen Battle; devoted son of Raymond C. and Beatrice J. Koch; dear brother of Gordon Koch; fond son-in-law of Fredreka and George McCarthy. Visitation Friday 3 to 8 p.m. at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, where funeral service will be held Saturday 9:30 a.m. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery.
