Age 87 of Chesaning passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Union Court Assisted Living.
Charlotte was born on November 28, 1930 to Joseph A. and Adeline (Bauman) Bueche in Chesaning. She married John L. Bila on May 8, 1954 at Our Lady Catholic Church; they celebrated 64 years of marriage this year.
During her life Charlotte worked at Ben Franklin's. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, now St. Peter's Catholic Church, where she was involved in the Altar Society. She loved donating her time to her community and church. After their retirement, she and Jack enjoyed making wood crafts and building stone birdhouses from the stones her family hand selected on their trips to Whitefish Point. Charlotte was a lifelong homemaker, and she loved being with her family.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, John; her children, Jeanne (Phil) Agnew, Patricia Bodary-Root, Mike (Rochelle) Bila, and Kay (Scott) Gewirtz; her grandchildren, John (Alecia) Agnew, Marianne (Anthony) Turner, Michelle Agnew, Megan Bodary (Jordan Shimmell), Jessica Bodary, Daniella Bila (Matt Kotowicz), Nathan (Jessica) Bila, Matt Bila, and Bosco Gewirtz; her great-grandchildren, Kieran Himm, Aiden Agnew, Ethan Turner, and Emma Turner; her siblings, Marie Adams, Kathleen Chilton, Margaret Jackelwicz, and Kenn Bueche; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Adeline Bueche; and her siblings, Norbert Bueche, Louise Kowalesky, Wilfred Bueche, Bob Bueche, and Birgetta Patterson-Gilles.
