JEANNETTE JANE SKIDMORE
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Jeannette Jane Skidmore of 410 S. Gertrude Ave. She was the mother of Mrs. Jessie E. Wallis of this city and the daughter of Mrs. Emma Nichols in Missouri. There are also a second sister, a brother and several nieces and nephews. Interment was in Pacific Crest cemetery.

Jean Nichols was married more than once. She married Arthur Featherling in 1901, and they had a daughter together, Jessie E. (Featherling) Penrod Wallis. Arthur remarried to Ellen Amelia Ann Roberts, a native of Canada, and they had several children together. He died in Canada in November 1918.
On July 10, 1922, in Pineville, McDonald County, Missouri, A. A. Skidmore married Jane Nichols. A. A. Skidmore was Andrew A. Skidmore, son of Judge Skidmore. Andrew died in 1937.
Jean and Andrew lived in Sulphur Springs, Benton County, Arkansas, in 1930, where Andrew was a lawyer in private practice. Andrew died December 11, 1937, at their home in Columbus.
