Randall W. Jones, age 61, of St. Bonifacius passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020 after a courageous battle against cancer.

A visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home (141 E. First St.) in Waconia on Tuesday June 23, 2020 from 4-7:00 PM. Private service with interment and Military Honors at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Randall William Jones was born July 21, 1958 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Dale and Lois (Baker) Jones. He graduated from Wayzata High School in 1976. Randall enlisted in the United States Navy after high school graduation and served for 4 years based out of Hawaii. On May 10, 1986 he was united in marriage to Debbie Orpen at Oak Knoll Lutheran Church in Minnetonka. Together they were blessed with and raised a son, Eric.

Randy along with his time in the service was a hard worker. He earned his degree as a computer technician and worked for TEKsystems at Delta Airlines. Randy and Debbie made their first home in Minnetonka and later built a home in St. Bonifacius, MN. Randy had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and boating. He played softball for a number of years at the Excelsior Commons. Randy was strong willed and private but humorous and loved his family. He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie; son, Eric; mother, Lois; brother, Dale (Pat) Jones of Mtka; sister, Cheryl (Perry) White of Hamel; brother and sister-in-laws Terry and Sue Orpen of Alexandria, Rick and Mary Orpen of St. Peter, and Tim and Lisa Orpen of Nowthen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and wonderful friends.
