Gary D. ‘Dwarf’ Gregory, 68, of Linton, Indiana, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at his home. He was born on August 25, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Fred Gregory and Mary (Hollingsworth) Hudson. Gary married Jean A. (Halbach) Gregory on January 20, 1973.

Gary was a member of the BPO Elks#866, Switz City Masonic Lodge #676 F & AM, Zorah Shrine of Terre Haute and UMWA Local #1410. He was a graduate of the Linton-Stockton High School Class of 1969 and was a coal miner at Peabody Hawthorne Mine with 27 years of service.

Family left to cherish Gary’s memory include: his wife, Jean Gregory; daughter, Amanda Gregory Boulanger; grandson, Kyle Boulanger, all of Linton; step-father, Ralston (Lois) Hudson of Linton; brother, Jim (Suzie) Gregory and Connie (Larry) Kinnett, both of Linton; step-sisters, Leta (Mark) Oeding and Tena (Jeff) House, both of Linton and Carolyn Hudson, of Vincennes; several nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service to honor the life of Gary will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Rev. Dick Smith officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 10:00 AM to join the procession to the cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Meng Family Funeral Homes, Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton.
