Julie Weed Parker, 52, of Sulphur, Louisiana went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. She was born May 16, 1968 in Monroe, Louisiana to Purvis and Kathleen (Arrant) Weed both of whom have preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory is husband, Phillip Parker; daughters: Rylea NesSmith, Brittani (Brad) Pritchard and Kaylee Parker; granddaughters: Addison NesSmith, Audrey Pritchard and Nataleigh Coon; grandson, Cohen Pritchard; brothers: Randy Weed and Todd (Kim) Weed; nephews: TJ (Kaycie) Weed, Tyler Weed, Ethan Weed; niece, Miranda (Luke) Delaney; great-niece, Nora Weed; and special friends: Sheldon Perkins and Diego Rosales. She left behind many loving family members as well as great friends.

“JuJu” was loved by children of all ages. She always had the snacks! Julie loved the outdoors, especially camping at Toledo Bend and playing on the beach with her grandchildren. Her greatest joy was cooking for others and making people happy. Julie loved making salsa, working with her hands, and tending to her plants.

Visitation for Julie will be held at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA on June 18, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Alto Baptist Church on June 19, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Interment for Julie will be at Prewitt Cemetery in Mangham, LA where she will be laid to rest beside her parents.
