Carrie Ruth Neal passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013, in Tulsa, Okla. She had been ill for several months. Memorial service: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 21, at Colonial Country Club and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 22, in Cambridge Towers. Arrangements are by Add'Vantage Funeral Service, Tulsa, Okla. She was the former wife of the late Durwood Neal, M.D., of Fort Worth. Ms. Neal was a nurse at John Peter Smith Hospital and later taught at Trimble Tech High School. She moved to Austin and lived there for 34 years. Survivors: Her son, Durwood Jr. and his wife, Katie; grandson, Caleb; sisters, Nelwyn Jackson of Cleburne and Jackie Hughes of Temple; and numerous nieces and nephews.
