Donna Kaye (Rhame) Crawford of Calcasieu, Louisiana entered into eternal rest June 14, 2020. She was born October 23, 1952, the 3rd child to the late R.V. and Ruby (Marler) Rhame.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving grandson, Cody.
She married the “Love of her life” Bill Crawford and they observed 50 years of marriage on May 12th, 2020.
She is survived by and leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Bill and 2 children: her daughter, Debra and Scott McMillan of Pensacola Florida, her son, Brandt and Angelique Crawford of Calcasieu, Louisiana.
Grandchildren: Matthew and Lowelle Reed of Pensacola, Florida, Hope Elizabeth Crawford of Greeley, Colorado, Rain and Ronan and a little one on the way all of Calcasieu, Louisiana.
Great Grandchildren: Cody and Hunter of Pensacola, Florida
Two Sisters: Mary Rhame Blackman and Patricia Rhame, one brother, Mike Rhame all of Sieper, Louisiana.
Many family members, nieces, nephews, and good friends.
She worked for Dr. Tracy Arbor in Alexandria, Louisiana for many years and retired as a manager from Rapides Parish library, Hineston branch with 25 years of service.
Donna was a Christian and a member of New Sunrise Baptist Church where she worked tirelessly to help with activities and anyone in need. She loved people and adored little children. She was an avid reader since early childhood. Her sincere and caring personality touched many and will be greatly missed.
Services in honor of her life will be held at New Sunrise Baptist Church in Otis, Louisiana @ 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 17th, 2020 under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Public visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17th, 2020 in the church.
She will be laid to eternal rest at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Melder, Louisiana.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Matthew Reed, Scott McMillan, Trey Blackman, Chase Blackman, Ronnie Walters and Russell NesSmith. Honorary pallbearers to serve will be Levy “Nunnie” Dyer, Sam Clark, Dennis Martin, and John Cook.
