Timmy Rossia Smith was born on January 24, 1975 in Altheimer, Arkansas to Mattie B. Pugh and the late Arthur Smith.
He accepted Christ at an early age at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Altheimer, under the leadership of the late Pastor Fred Johnson. He attended school in Altheimer, and he graduated from Pine Bluff High School Class of 1994.
He loved his family and was always at family gatherings. He loved working on cars and worked as a mechanic most of his life. He worked various other jobs, but always returned to mechanics, what he loved. He would fix on older cars and make them into beautiful “Race” cars. He was a peaceable and very loving person, always slow to anger and slow to wrath.
He was preceded in death by his father; Arthur Smith, his paternal grandparents, Roosevelt “Bo” and Viola Smith, his maternal grandparents, Levi “Red” and Louise Cole.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Brittney Smith of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Bryunna Smith of Little Rock, Arkansas. His mother, Mattie B. (Michael) Pugh of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. One brother, Stephen (Roshawnda) Smith of Garland, Texas; Two sisters, Carolyn Smith and Sherry Smith of Dallas, Texas. One special aunt/godmother, Lona Scott of Little Rock, Arkansas. Six Aunts, Nine Uncles, Five Great-Aunts, Three Great-Uncles, Four Nieces, Six Nephews and Two Great-Nieces. An enormous “vast” number of cousins and friends who will always cherish his memories.
Funeral Service will be 2:00pm on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the International House of Prayer with Pastor William A. Shaw officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens by Paradise Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
Family Hour/ Visitation will be Friday, November 29, 2019, from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm at Plesant View Ministries.
